Short fiction under 2500 words. We enjoy the short fiction of Denis Johnson, Robert Musil, Mary Robison, Grace Paley, Macho Man Randy Travis, D'J Pancake, Skeeter Davis, and breakfast. Please send 1 story at a time.

Poetry that reminds us of Kenneth Koch, Frank Stanford, Clark Coolidge, Eileen Myles, Neutral Milk Hotel, our best friends and our favorite shapes of lip. Please send 1-3 poems.

Presentations of contemporary small press poetry and fiction. Of particular interest are presentations of chapbooks, magazines, and alternative publishing projects. 200-500 words, please.

Essays under 2000 words concerning literary topics in the context of larger cultural or social landscapes.

Photography & Artwork of the black and white variety. We tend to enjoy quirky B&W photography and illustration best. We appreciate links to online work, but we can also accept attachments of JPGs. If your work is accepted, we will need high quality 300+ dpi JPGs.

     Longer submissions should be attached as an MS Word DOC or RTF
     file. Shorter submissions can be pasted in the body of the email.
